On November 25, representatives from both businesses, Board Chair David Hendrickson, the Most Reverend Mark E. Tina Tordella, Director of Counseling Services, held activities to highlight National Gratitude Month. On World Kindness Day, she provided students with information about the importance of kindness and its benefits.Wheeling University participated in the Main Street Bank Fantasy in Lights Parade again this year. More than 300 students and employees from undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, along with faculty and staff, represented the University in the annual Christmas parade. The Men’s and Women’s Rugby Teams had the distinction of serving as a Grand Marshal. Team representatives escorted our float throughout the streets of Wheeling. Our students, faculty, and staff, decked in red, walked behind the float. Our ‘sea of red’ was the largest group to participate in the parade.
As always, let me extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire Wheeling University Community for your support. We have had much to be thankful for in November.
Sincerely,

Dianna M. Vargo, Ed.D.
