Fiction Workshop

Stephen King argues that to write well, one must first “read a lot.” This course and its requirements are divided roughly into two halves: reading exemplary works of fiction in order to learn the tools of the fiction writer’s craft and writing and revising original work in a workshop setting, where the work is discussed around a table with one’s peers.
