Software Installation Policy

Faculty can request that IT install software for use in one or more of the IT computer labs. IT requires three weeks notice prior to the semester in which software is to be used.

This provides:

• testing period for ITS to install the software
• testing period for you to test the software’s functionality
• time to make any necessary changes from the testing

IT will store the original installation disks in the IT software inventory.
