RN to BSN/MSN
Especially designed for the motivated adult learner and working registered nurse, the Wheeling University RN to BSN/MSN program is offered in an online-based distance format, with clinical rotations completed in the student’s home community. There are two tracks available within the program: The RN-BSN is intended for students who are already registered nurses and want to finish their BSN. Students in the RN-MSN track take four required MSN classes affording them the ability to earn their BSN and get a head start on their MSN. Once the student applies and is accepted into the MSN program, only courses specific to the MSN track of choice need to be completed. Since RN-BSN/MSN students are required to complete core classes, a course plan will be created for them that will include the classes they need to take at WU to complete their BSN.
The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master’s degree program in nursing, and post-graduate APRN certificate program at Wheeling University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org). RN to MSN Program

- MSN 503 Health Care Policy (instead of NURS 426)
- MSN 525 Health Care Delivery Systems & Economics (instead of NURS 455)
