Enrollment Verification

Enrollment Certification via National Student Clearinghouse

To conveniently serve its students around the clock, Wheeling University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to act as its agent for verification of student enrollment status. You can obtain an official Enrollment Verification Certificate at any time via the Clearinghouse website.

  1. Click on the “Verify Now.”
    (fee of $2.50 payable by credit card)
  2. Print your Enrollment Verification Certificate.

This Enrollment Verification Certificate can be presented to health insurance agencies, housing authorities, consumer product companies, banks, etc., when asked to provide evidence of enrollment at Wheeling University.

Verified Enrollment History

To request enrollment verification through the Registrar’s Office simply complete the Enrollment Verification form and allow 7 to 10 business days to process the request. This will include all enrollment dates, status, declared degree, and conferral date. The enrollment history does not include any information on GPA, letter grades, or courses taken as found on the official transcript. Note when seeking official documentation of degrees earned that is the official transcript, not an enrollment verification or diploma.

Letter of Enrollment

For insurance purposes only, a letter of enrollment can be generated stating the student’s enrollment status for a particular semester. Complete Enrollment Verification request.

Third-party Verification forms

Can be completed upon request, but allow 3 to 5 business days. No request can be completed prior to last date to drop of any particular semester.
