The Biology major is designed to awaken the student’s interest in the living world; scientific habits and knowledge-acquisition methods; and training in preparation for careers in medicine, research, teaching and other technical or biological vocations.

Pre-Medical Track

Prepares students for careers in medicine, research, teaching and other medical services vocations.

General Science

Major

Prepares students to acquire a background in the natural and physical sciences. In conjunction with the Teacher Education Program, the program offers training for a career in K-12 teaching.
